KERN’S PIES (two!)

Kern’s Pies, the Louisville, Kentucky-based baker, created these two confections that will make connoisseurs of sweet treats swoon:

• Derby Pie, in honor of the Kentucky Derby, is Kern’s chocolate nut pie made with premium chocolate and walnuts
• Golden Pecan Pie, a classic Southern pecan pie baked with a rich, buttery crust

Reproduction of the Edgar Bergen dummy, approximately 18 inches tall in overall good condition. “Hey, kids, what time is it? It’s Howdy Doody time!”  Howdy Doody, the much-loved character from the 1950s and 1960s children’s show, is here as a ventriloquist figure to bid on. “I LOVE LUCY” COMIC BOOK

Dell Publishing issued a run of “I Love Lucy” comic books from 1954 through 1962. Story lines were based on the TV show’s hair-brained antics of the red-headed star. This item is #17 from 1957, which contributor James notes it is in good to very good condition.
